New Technologies & Root Health Management

February 25, 2020

We held our first luncheon of the 2020 season at the Legends Tap House & Grill in Selma on February 25th. This lunch was focused on New Technologies & Root Health Management. Shawn Athayasay from Fresno County Department of Agriculture discussed current laws and regulations and any new updates growers need to be aware of. Francisco Rivera Guerrero from OMEX talked about the function and effective application of nematicides. Jared Sannar with Redox presented his presentation on ‘Abiotic Stress Defense; Why Plant Nutrition Matter,’ which was a great agronomy lesson. Lastly, Jim White discussed soil tilth and root health to wrap up our meeting. These new technologies and products are available to growers and can help promote root growth in the new season.

Thank you to everyone who attended, we look forward to our next luncheon.
