Julie Sannar and Jim White were the keynote presenters at this SBC Seminar held at the Shafter Ford Theater during lunch on Tuesday, April 24th, 2018. Some background was given on extra ingredients that come along with some SBC product formulations, and how Amino Acids, Humic and Fulvic acids, and plant sugars can definitely tip the scales in the grower’s direction even though they don’t show on the product analysis. Also emphasis was given on the importance of delivering nutrition in a form that plants can readily uptake, without having to spend a lot of energy in doing so.
Almond and Pistachio nutrient deficiency symptoms were highlighted, with strategies on how to overcome alternate bearing.
